1979 Iranian Hostage Crisis
On Nov. 4, 1979, hundreds of Iranian students took over the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, holding 52 people hostage for the next 444 days.

Since I am a native Georgian. I should be happy and proud that one of our own served as President of the United States. Jimmy Carter had no business being in the White House. His poor judgment then and now show that to be true.

The current POTUS is in the same boat with Jimmy Carter. :smt011 :smt011 :smt011

Cynthia moved to Washington DC and is now considered mainstream. Jimmy Carter must have fallen down as a child and bumped his head really badly or all that radiation from those early nuclear subs must have eaten up vital parts of his brain.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

I'd always heard the only reason the ran Jimmy for President was becuase he wasn't smart enough to run the peanut gin.
