tank question

I haven't been diving in about 4 years.... I stored my tanks filled with air... Is it safe to use the air in the tanks, or does it go bad after a period of time?

The air is fine. It doesn't go bad. If they are aluminum I would get them VIP'ed before I dove them however. Chances are your o rings are shot.
