Yep, me and Mrs Dubble finally got to get out on the water. Been May since we were there. It felt so good. We wound up with 4 keeper trout in 3 hours of fishin'. Also got a keeper Rockbass. We started fishing about 2 and they did not bite until the last half hour before sunset. We also turned lose several shorts. One of the trout was a nice fat 21 incher...

The water was colored good, and you could not see bottom even in 2.5 feet of water. Water temp was 66 to 68 all afternoon.

We would have stayed longer, but Ms Dubble was getting chilly. I was sooo glad to see her having fun. It has been a long year for her. She is in the week or so period each month between chemo when she feels good.

I had the camera with me, but we were short of time, and spent it all casting and reelin'

One boat with 2 guys came in as we were pulling out, and he said they had a limit of trout, not sure if he meant 1 limit or 2. They had been out since 10am.
