Fly lines, fly rod/reel, Kistler Helium for sale

Post by Terrier »

I've got:

1 9WT Rio Mainstream Saltwater , used once on Lake Hall to test cast. This has a section of 40lb mono with a perfection loop double nail knotted on the end $20.00
1 9WT Rio Saltwater Camo Tip, never used but wound on the reel. $40.00

$50.00 for both lines. These are heavy 9wt lines, so if you're thinking about overlining an 8wt with them don't - that's what I did. I need to get 8WT lines which are closer to 9WT lines (if that makes any sense).

1 Redington Red.Start rod, 8' 5/6WT. This rod is lightly used. It has an soft, medium action and is excellent for a beginner or for lobbing poppers on the bass pond. Comes with a tube. I'll throw in a Marin 67SS-A reel with a serviceable Cortland 555 6wt line on it (I trimmed the running portion of the line by about 20' to fit on a Medalist 1492). The reel is one of the older "Made in USA" reels

$50.00 for all

1 Kistler Helium HE76HC 7'3" rod. This is a rod I bought reconditioned from the Kistler outlet. It was a 7'6" rod damaged in shipping (lost 3" off the end), so they replaced the rod tip and sold it without warranty. I have not used it much and not at all the past 1 1/2 years since I started fly fishing. It has a heavy action but it is light and very sensitive.

$60.00 for the rod.
