A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Heads up to everyone to be on the lookout for Salty Tiger's new Andros Backwater. It was stolen last night! It looks like a panga and is white with a light green hull. There isn't many around so if you see one please call the law so we can catch these a-holes.
Here is a photo of the boat.

Man, that sucks ST. I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled. I hope the authorities catch the SOBs who took it and horse-whip them senseless with a moldy bilge pump hose!
I think from his office lot..... They have a fenced lot that he kept it in. He was fishing with WaltDawg on Walt's boat this morning and got the news that the office lot was broken into. His office lot was over of North Monroe in Tallahassee. I'm just posting because I got the call from them and trying to help spread the news.. They are heading back to town now to deal with it and talk to the police.
Wow! I'll keep an eye open too. I've never understood why someone would steal a boat, or anything else for that matter, but how in the hell could they hide or disguise a boat like that? Wouldn't they need papers to sell it? I would think it would be easy to spot. I hope they find the boat in one piece and keel haul the thieves.
Thanks for posting Chris. The boat was taken last night sometime after 5 pm from 3505 N. Monroe, the NE corner lot of N Monroe and Talpeco. It may or may not of had a light green boat cover, I didn't tie it down the last time I used it so maybe sitting on the side of I10 somewhere. The boat is a custom and the only one that color, I think the next closest Backwater is in Pensacola so if it's still in the area (which I doubt) it should stick out. The motor was a F90 Yamaha, the trolling motor was a 55lb minnkota w/ quick release and it had a 8' gray powerpole. I also had a 20' carbon fiber' Moonlighter push pole that wasn't secured in the rod holders that may be lying beside the road. Thanks for keeping and eye out.
Now I'm really pissed. I ran out of beer in the fridge, go to the truck to get a twelve pack of Yuengling out of the cooler I bought last night, and it was gone.
What a shatty weekend - Auburn loses a heart breaker in the Iron Bowl, my boat gets stolen and someone stole my beer out of the back of my truck. I think I'll get my wife to drive me up to the store to buy some whiskey and lottery tickets.
