Gulp Shrimp "Molding color"

Post by DeanMac »

As you all know, I am a green horn to the Salt fishing,

I did a forum search and read about a years post that had a reference to Gulp.

It seems the color mentioned the most was New Penny.

I only saw Molding mentioned one time.

I saw Molding on closeout for $24.95 for a quart with free shipping. That was the only flavor on sale.

Can I assume the other flavors are better ? I realize weather conditions and water clarity come be a factor.

Anyone have much success with the Molting?

It'll work as long as you keep fishing it. You can't catch fish without a hook in the water.
I think GULP! works ore on scent attraction and then the fish sees it.

Thanks,

Just trying to find something that will stay on a 5 year olds hook better than frozen shrimp.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems the salt water fish are not as color finkey as the large mouth bass.

In case anyone is interested.

Bass Pro has the gulp on clearance, 2", 3" or 4" for $24.77 per quart. Molding, other flavors are $35.

Also, today is the last day of free shipping for a $99 or more order. This will save you about $12.95.
Of course it was easy to find enough other items to get over $99. :D

Code: L9DC

I placed an order yesterday.

Thanks for the heads up, that is a good deal. I've found that molting outperforms new penny in really murky water. Definitely worth keeping a few of several colors and sizes on hand. I like to buy the bags of different sizes and colors and mix them all together in one bucket, sort of like a prize grab bag. I like to keep one bucket in the front and one in the rear of the boat. That way we don't spill gulp juice everywhere when we're passing the bucket back and forth.
