Fished from 1:30 to 5:00 this afternoon with the fly rods. Picked up a 5 bream and a nice 18" bass. The bream were pretty active - I had a lot of "tail bites" in addition to the ones I caught. The fish seem to be suspended around weed beds at the 12'-15' line.
For the bass, the top fly, for the bream, the bottom fly (both still soggy from the lake).
The bottom fly is a "bream charlie" with a marabou tail (with a few strands of chartreuse krystal flash) , clear vrib over chartreuse floss with some ice dub near the eyes (1/8 brass). Olive bucktail wing with a few strands of krystal flash. This has been my most reliable fly in Lake Hall this year - I've caught bass, bream, specks and shiners on it.
