Did you happen to stop by JR's Store on your way home? I stopped for a Diet Coke on the ride back and asked if anybody else had been catching any. JR's wife told me some folks stopped in just ahead of me with a lot of trout they caught in the creeks. My first thought was "How did they get there?"
I walked parts of the creek I fished dragging my kayak behind me, so I know it had to be tough going in a boat. Stop in Woodville and see Wavel Porter. He can replace that skeg with a rock guard.

Steve,
It wasn't me that stopped by JRs. I wasn't able to get within about a mile of most creek mouths. That far out we were still in 1-3' of water. Caught fish on plastics as slow as we could work them.

In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

You should write children's short stories with that kind of report! It was like a mini tv show while I read it. Very nice!
