IF YOU ARE GOING TO PULL ONE OF THOSE WIDE=WIDE CATS, YA BETTER DO IT WITH THE DODGE, IT WOULD BURN THAT TAHOE UP.
I HAVE ONLY BEEN ON A CAT 1 AND LAST TIME. THEY ARE A BUGGERBEAR TO TURN IN A SMALL SPACE EVEN WITH 2 ENGINES, ONE GOING IN FORWARD AND THE OTHER GOING IN REVERSE LIKE ON A LARGE BOAT, SAY LIKE A 50 FT.BOAT. COST WISE THE MONO IS ABOUT 1/2 HALF ON A NEW ONE FOR THE SAME FT. THEY ARE NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO FISH THE FLATS AND CREEKS ALONG OUR BIG BEND COAST.

Cueball, just buy a damn Yellowfin and forget about it. We can scallop out of the kayaks. Call me next weekend and I'll help you break it in. I heard you could keep it where Salty Tiger kept his boat.
I know you already bought a boat but if I had the choice (money) and was in the market I'd consider a Parker pilot house or similar. Gives you a place to air condition in case the family gets too hot. JMO.
