Tallahassee Marine Center
Hi Folks,
It is a sad thing for me to report. Tallahassee Marine Center is going out of business. Their last day of operation will be 12/19/2009. I guess it is another commentary on the way our economic situation is affecting everyone. There will be the usual going out of business sales. Everything must go! If you need a boat or motor or any equipment that is in stock, Charlie has informed me they will be making deals.
I am truly sorry to see them closing their doors. I hate to see anyone go out of business due to our politician's mismanagement of our economy, especially a good neighbor.( I work next door to them) They will be missed in the business community.

Terrible news! Sign of the times for sure but mainly I'm so sad for all the people and families affected!
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Re: Tallahassee Marine Center
Talked to Charlie Schwartz today at TMC. He has been a great friend of BBF.net and NFGFC.org since he opened business in Tallahassee. He will be missed.
He asked me to pass along some great savings opportunities to all you guys.
Anything and everything in stock must be sold. Go see him and try and work out a deal that will suit you both.
Some special savings on oil are as follows:
All 2 stroke outboard engine oil by the case only.
XD30=6 gallons $100.00 per case=$16.67 per gallon.
XD50 " " " $115.00 " " "$19.17 " "
XD100 " " $120.00 " " $20.00 " ".
Charlie and his staff needs our support in this trying time.
Help him and yourself if you can.
Charlie and his wife love Tallahassee and want to stay in the area.
If any of you know of any job opportunities please pass them along to Charlie and his staff.

Re: Tallahassee Marine Center
I just drove by today and noticed they were no longer in business, then I found this post. I guess I'm a little late. I'm new to the area and that was the only place I had gotten any maintenance done or bought oil, etc. What other options are in the Tallahassee area?
