Cool Water fish???
Ok folks. I have been reading and reading as well as fishing lots the past month. I am no closer to finding fish today as I was a month ago. It seems as the water temp went below 65 the Trout and Reds went somewhere. I have tried all my usual flats. I have tried the creeks east and west of Palmetto Island. I have had a couple of Reds look at a spoon but that is as close as I have come to catching a fish.
I really don't want to jump in someone else's holes. I would just like to get some direction as where I should go to look for fish, tactics. lures, etc... I am really hoping to catch a fish this weekend as I am starting to suffer withdrawals. Thanks for any info you can provide.

CUT YOUR PRESENTATION DOWN ABOUT 1/2 THE SPEED YOU HAVE BEEN USING. REDS AND TROUT SHOULD BE UP THE EAST RIVER. WHEN YOU GO OUT THE CANAL AT THE LIGHTHOUSE TAKE A RIGHT AND FOLLOW THE GRASS LINE BACK INTO EAST RIVER, I JUST USE MY TROLLIN MOTOR BACK IN THERE, MANY, MANY OYSTER BARS. BEST TO GO IN AND BACK OUT WITHIN ONE HOUR BEFORE AND AFTER HIGH TIDE.

Take Pa's 1/2 speed suggestion and cut it in 1/2 again.
Use suspending baits like the Mirrolure Catch 2000.
Soft jerk bait barely moving along the bottom.
Shrimp on a small cork, barely twitch it occasionally.
You are fishing in the right places.
Fish slow and be patient.
