Monday came and I knew seeing my BIL would be here to fish this weekend from ATL that it would be good then and not when he was here. In order to maintain the tradition of you just missed it I had to go. I carried a buddy and his two guests.
We drug around on the way down waiting for the water to get in the creek. Eased out motor running like crap got to the hole trolling motor sounded real bad and I am thinking why did i get up today? Third cast fat trout easing in through the bars another in the creek a nice red note to self teach that boy how to net or leave him in the grass! Back out and down the grass line trolling motor clunking all the way. We caught thrity fish! I use the term we in a general fashion. I cought 23 fish in less that four hours on a bite a bite floater in silver easing down the bank took pretty pictures of a 26 1/2 " fattie and let her go back the didn't eat the winner of the Kentucky Derby did they? Real hard sweeping jerk on the rod then let it lay on top don't overwork them, the guys that did spent the day netting my fish. The water was 52 to 57 stained and we rolled right down the bank very few in the creek mouths more on the grass in between. Blackened the reds last night, redbeans and rice slaw. I will go tomorrow but as usual Frankie's here so it the day after the front wish me luck.

The trolling motor was a broken shear pin seems like the big motor was a kink in the fuel line and I have been working on a hole in the bottom will see if I got it patched right tomorrow. 1st time working with fiberglass like that so easy a cave man could do it!

Bagles and lox for breakfast mmmmmm!

WAM out
Yesterday it was taboo today it is normal what the heck will they be doing tomorrow?
