Keaton Beach 26 Dec 09

Post by chugbug »

Took a buddy to the salt for the first time as a Christmas present....for both of us. We ran down to Spring Warrior first thing and waited about 10 minutes for out fingers to thaw. Within the first 20 minutes I had our two over 20" one was 22 and the other 23. After about 10 minutes I landed another one 19". We caught several trout after that but they were all to big. Biggest was 25 inches landed by my buddy. It was a nice first trout. I had fun and hope to do it again soon. Just wish we could have found some smaller. :smt006

Chrome black bite a bait suspender worked fast. Strike King Redfish magic glass minnow body (electric Chicken) on a red jig head. The jerkbait I was throwing right to the oyster bars.

Too many big'uns; I hate it when that happens. ;-)
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
