Fished ocklocknee bay this past weekend with several friends who are now at the Betty Ford Clinic. Cold Cold Cold was that main thing that happened. We did manage a few trout up the river and the bigger trout came at the mouth of the river. I have a question! Will redfish get in shallow water and be available to sight fish in cold weather? I tried every deep spot we could find and no reds to speak of. There was alot of freshwater in the river and i know that that will scatter them out but come on there has got to be a redfish somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico that we can catch!
Sorry no pics, too cold to hold a camera.

Roadtrip i sent you some leftover rum cake to the clinic that should fix the shakes. Good pics by the way, to bad my partner has his face covered (but that could be for a good reason)
I dont think anybody on big bend likes us or maybe our fishing tactics for information is wrong. Talltails and flounderpounder, did yall tell all these people that we are oyster bar destoyers or what??

Lots of freshwater out at OB. All I caught were freshwater catfish in the BAY. Glad you found some. I would have joined you but I was busy at some guy's hunting camp in Quitman.

1) Walt dawg did you shoot anything and if so where is a picture
2) JT I was in my boat and roadtrip and the rest of his crew looked like a bunch of Haitian refugees coming down the river
3) Wevans you need to join up with us down there one day and show us your fishing spots. We will buy you a pizza at the BP.
4) We obviously were not fishing in the right spots since JT didnt make a claim that we were on his holes
