Winterize a 90 hp yamaha outboard...
Can't really decide how to go about it. Was thinking about filling the engine with water/antifreeze mixture by putting the foot down in a barrel of water/antifreeze. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks

By the time ya get all that done...it'l be warm enough ta take your boat out on the water again

I always just made sure my foot didn't have any water in it and I wrapped an old beach towel around the foot and prop. Never had any problems and we have had some cold nights in South GA.

If you want an easy and fairly cheap way to guarenty it won't freeze
buy a cheap electric blanket, wrap it around the motor, wrap some bisquen around that "to keep water away from the blanket", set it on low and the motor will stay warmer than you will
