Captain Seagull's Sportsfishing Chart

Post by DeanMac »

I picked up one of those secret fishing spot maps last week.

I am sure no one else has one. LOL

I see all the pink marked "good fising spots" which includes wrecks, etc

Question: I noticed some #'s had a little round dark blue circle, but I could not find anything in the legion about what the blue means?
Does that mean I need to "Keep out" :-D

Some of those were due South of Dog Island, looks like a couple or three miles. I

I don't have the map with me but I think the 3 mile Dog Island reef was blue.

????? by permission only?????

Rumor has it that there is a guy in the big bend area that ownes a fairly large portion of the GOM .....and has exlusive rights to certain spots, that are off limits to all others and protected by some ultra secret government agency.......but I have also been told that he is kind enuff the share the other 99.99999% of the GOM ......

so please stay away from the blue dots........if you do try and tempt fate, dont be surprised to find out that there are such mythical beings as the dreaded KRAKEN
2006 Nautic Star 2200 bay
2015 Suzuki DF225
Garmin 93SV
Uniden Oceanus VHF
Minn Kota Riptide ST 80 I-Pilot
