Lethal weapon system for sure. 
These beasts, like most heavy armor systems, present some pretty interesting logistical challenges................fuel being one.

JT, no war stories to tell here. I was in from 1996 until 2004 but never got the call, though many buds did and some are still sitting over in the sandbox waiting to come home. Not to say we didn't hit anything in training -- the Abrams as a weapon is awesome. We bore sighted in at 1200 meters and once while at Fort Knox we shot three rounds to check our calibration and the range officers spotting our hits through binoculars told us they were afraid only one of our 3 shots was on target. They had personnel run to check the targets up close and verified that the three rounds had actually hit so close they formed a single hole with rough-edged margins formed by the three different shots.
Ron, on the logistics note, as a crewman I can remember having to load them on rail and it sure wasn't fun as we had to get them within a 1/2 inch of being square on all 4 corners before they would let us cinch them down. I can vividly remember having guides holding their fingers about a 1/4 apart telling us to nudge them left or right a hair. Let me tell you, moving 60 plus tons a "hair" with a 1,500 hp turbine engine isn't the easiest thing in the world to do.
Still, firing them was well worth it!
