COSTA RICA FISHING NEW YEAR'S EVE

Post by macdaddy »

The wife and i made a trip to Costa Rica for our 25th wedding anniversary. We hooked up with Costa Rica Dreams charter out of Los Suenos Marina on the Pacific side and fished aboard the Dream II with Captain Warren. We caught 3 Sailfish the largest being 115" long and 110 LBS and 5 mahi-mahi the largest of them were 45 LBS. Fish were all caught trolling about 25-30 miles out and in 6500 ft of water. Needless to say didn't get to bottom fish much!! It was a dream trip come true for the both of us and hopefully we will get to do it again on our 30th.

That sounds like a sweet trip. We might do that for our 5th.

Just a repost for Culrich on the Costa Rica fishing. Save your money on all the sight seeing crap and spend it on fishing!!!!!
Just kidding, beautiful country.
