Bream Buster used to talk highly of a guide out of Jacksonville. Does anyone remember the name?

BBB- I was asked to assist a friend in helping plan a bachelor party for 4 to do some offshore fishing in Jacksonville area on April 8th. They were hoping for a bottom fishing charter. I do not pay attention to regs on the Atlantic side and was wondering if Grouper and Snapper were even open during that time.

If they want a bottom fishing charter for April 8th they should look at the Panhandle or somewhere on the Gulf. Grouper is closed on the Atlantic until May 1st. Even then you can only keep 1 gag or 1 black grouper within the 3 grouper aggregrate. In the Gulf grouper opens on April 1st. The limits & seasons for grouper in the Gulf are much more generous.
