Has anybody had any luck fishing lately? I fished a pond close to home yesterday that usually produces something and got 2 bites on a black power bait worm. today went to another pond in all the thick fog and got no bass bites, had several small bream pull at a white curlytail jig but wouldn't take the hook. And that is after the total whipeout we had at Steinhatchee last week. It's gett'in downright depress'in!

My only solice lately is fishing shows. But have no fear, spring is rght around the corner.

Tie on a top water, cast it out and just twitch a little, then let it sit for about 30 seconds and then twitch it some more................ untill you have to cast again y'all be surprised at the results "if they are feeding at all"

We had a tournament down at Panasofkee this past weekend and it took 7 pounds to win. There was another club down there while we were there and it took 6 pounds to win their tournament. BUT at Seminole it took 18 pounds to win one tournament and 21 for another. I think it varies from lake to lake. I think the smaller pounds and lakes are more affected by the cold than big lakes. Fish the warm sides of banks and very close to structure and extremely slow.

I was at Panasofkee as well. I was down there "fun" fishing. It wasn't much fun though. Windy as heck and grass floating everywhere. I did catch a few though. Biggest was 4 pounds. Recon I woulda won both those tourny's. I had about 10 pound with 5 fish.

give it another month or so and the specs should turn on in talquin if you're into that....i'm chompin at the bit to go...between bad weekend weather and honey-do's lately i haven't done any fishin
