overhead rod storage
I'm looking for either plans or a link where plans would be available for a overhead rod rack. I know some folks have built them in the past so there must be someone who has a template or pictures, dimensions, etc. I really like this style but would like some dim on the placement of the slots and holes. Thanks.

I bought the wood and used a hole saw... kind of eyeballed the project from there. if I can do it - you can do it. I am not a very good woodworker. I am not very handy.
Re: overhead rod storage
Thanks Atticus, I remember your post.
As far as put'n on my man pants and start cut'n... I can do that. Put'n my 2 biggest level winds and one rod in between...doing some measure'n would get me started. However, if somebody has already been there ahead of me, then I'll go with that information and be a step or two farther down the road. EXCUSE ME FOR BEING LAZY!

Re: overhead rod storage
I went to Lowe's and bought a set of overhead lawn tool racks. It holds about 20 of my long surf and pier rods. Cost about $10.
Re: overhead rod storage
Good afternoon MM.
I've checked both Lowes and Homedepot on line but haven't found anything associated with overhead lawn tool rack. Can you give me a link, image, additional info. Thanks.

Here is what I did with the picture from Atticus. I still need to reinforce the corners to keep it from bending and then I will mount it. It will hang I just propped it up and put some rods in it to see how it looked. Total cost about 20 bucks!!
Thanks for the idea Atticus very easy build and looks good.
