AKC Yellow Lab...Free to a good home

Approx 3 year old male yellow lab..huge..120 pounds or so......99.0 % percent of the time ...he is perfect...but, every six months since we had him fixed(this has now happened twice) someone will walk or ride down my property line and he will rush up and bite them (not very hard...just hard enough to break skin & scare them to death). I dont know why! He is such a good dog otherwise and I don't want to take him to the shelter. Therefore, he is in need of a good home. We have a lot of children in the area and just can't take the chance of him nipping/biting one of them. He is never aggressive when we are around, only when i let him out by himself. Anybody need a good guard dog?

Hi---this is Tom & Leslie....South Ga (Shellman...near Albany)
"Chief", as we call him, is a wonderful dog.
He is one of the prettiest labs I have ever seen.
I will take & upload some pics tomorrow if I can get home before it gets too dark.
He has never shown one ounce of aggression to anyone other than people trespassing that he didn't know.
We want a good home for him...we are just concerned because we have a lot of small children in the neighborhood and it is better to be safe, than sorry.
We have his sister also, a black female and are just "sick" to have to find another home for Chief, but hope this may work out with you.
He LOVES to run and loves the water! Sounds like a perfect match. If you have any questions...shots, papers, etc...

This is Jim and my sons nickname is Chief believe it or not. He is the one I am looking into this for. He is an avid hunter and works with all forms of animals from horses to dogs. It indeed may be a good match. Look forward to the pictures.
