Went to Lake Jackson yesterday with a former Bass Tour Pro and a local Fish Slayer.
Fished all their holes and did not get a bite.
Going back tomorrow and fish MY holes.
Water temperature tomorrow afternoon at YOUR holes should be a few degrees warmer than at their holes yesterday, JT51. I think that will make all the difference. Black w gold glitter 7" jerk bait might work.
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
We went today and caught a few on Jackson. 3 small bass from 1-3 lbs. Caught 1 on live minnow, 2 on white crankbait. Nothing on earthworms or topwater. Tried beetle spins with no luck either. We were having a good time till these knuckleheads decided to friggin kneeboard right by us Lots of boats out there today, but didn't see much catchin
