We left out of Alligator Point Saturday morning at 9 w/ 2 of my friends and our wives. What a beautiful day. Our goal was the K tower for AJ's. Lots of fish to be seen as the water was clear. Barracuda and even 3 large cobia were around. Sadly, we only caught one AJ and that was a release. Moving around to some grouper spots, we eventually got 8 gags and 5 reds. Caught lots of shorts and the usual ruby lip snappers. This was by far the best fishing trip for us so far this year.

WTG, Did you throw jigs at the cobias ?

No, Sea Fox, we through some cut bait at the Cobia. They came up on us so fast, we really didn't know what to do. To make matters worse, we had no live bait fish, so we were not even set up for free lining. We'll be better prepared next time.
