Utility Trailer

Post by Charles »

Apparently my utility trailer doesn't take boat trailer parts nor automotive parts. This is the second time I've run into this. None of the automotive places I checked carried the hubs, nor could (would) they order them. Same story this time. Wound up at Coastal Trailer and Hitch down in Medart. Not only did they carry everything I needed, they had it all in stock.

Should have thought to go there first. It's close enough I could have just ridden my bike down there one afternoon after work, instead of running all over the county in the car. :bang_1

Anyway, talked to Dan. Very knowledgeable about trailers. He answered all my questions and gave me some pointers on what I was trying to do. :D

Glad to hear you got the trailer going again, Charles. Coastal Trailers is good folks.

I am a little surprised to hear YOU might own something out of the ordinary.

They have done some great work for me too...

A few years back the trailer went off the end of the Ramp at Newport.
the axle got whacked out of alignment and came out all crooked.
Dropped it off with them and everything was perfect in a few hours.

Oh, to clarify:
That was this flatbed utility trailer:

Like the way I carry a shovel? Wait'll I get a pic of how to carry an extension ladder.

Not this flatbed utility trailer:

:-D

I remember that, bman. I think that was the trailer I suggested fixing by just driving back through the same hole going the other way. :-D
