Re: REDTROUT SHOOTOUT
I think the boat supplier was negatively impacted by the current economic condition.
But, on the bright side,it allowed the entry fee to be lowered.

That's what I figured. Fine with me, didn't need a boat anyway.
Game on!
Re: REDTROUT SHOOTOUT
I read somewhere between Gulf and Taylor counties...does that include Taylor county?
Also, rules say fish should be kept alive....? No way in my boat. Is there a penalty for keeping them on ice?
Thanks for info!

I asked Brian the same question and he said after you go to a Captian's meeting you can launch anywhere as long as you're back in Carrabelle and checked in by 6.RHTFISH wrote:I read somewhere between Gulf and Taylor counties...does that include Taylor county?

Rules state that every effort must be made to keep fish alive however, there is no penalty if for your fish is not alive when weighed.RHTFISH wrote:I read somewhere between Gulf and Taylor counties...does that include Taylor county?

Re: REDTROUT SHOOTOUT
What we really need to talk about is the bikini contest. I think that seeing that there were no big foam checks or any physical trophies for big red and big trout last time. I believe that the big red and big trout wins should be two of the judges for the bikini contest. That would bring in even more people in and make the pot a little more interesting. Obviously it should start with the first winners im sure the Casey wouldn't have a problem with this . Just my 10 cents.

Allnighter, Not so sure about the judge seats (thats a very long line) but I tell you what! I will give this years Big Trout & Big Red winner/s a pair of VIP Bikini Contest Tickets to next years event. Hell, I may even acknowledge you on stage - Just one rule! No drooling on my girls!Allnighter wrote:What we really need to talk about is the bikini contest.
