1st Annual Special Olympics
In-Shore Fishing Tournament
Sponsored by Taylor County Law Enforcement Torch Run Committee

When: April 24th, 2010
Where: Coastal Taylor County
Start time: Safe-light
Weigh-in: 4:00 PM @ Keaton Beach
Entry Fee: $30 per person/Kids 12 & Under Free

Prizes:



Largest Legal Redfish - $500
2nd Largest Legal Redfish -$250
Redfish with Most Spots -$150


Largest Trout -$500
2nd Largest Trout -$250

Kids’ Largest Shiner (12 & Under) -$50

There's a bunch of tournaments going on the 24th.

Friend of mine (LEO) asked me to post.
The only conflict I knew of was the Red-Trout shoot-out in Carrabelle.
Is there others?
He figured since Warrior and JR were in the Carrabelle tourney, that would increase turn-out in the Special Olympics one :lol:

i guess this one will make up for the relay for life tournament that would of been in perry that weekend if it could of been put on.anyone know if there are tickets or any registration you need to fish in this on?

Hey Mike,

yep, this sort of replaces the Relay for Life one.
Entry Fee: $30 per person/Kids 12 & Under Free
I think you can register that day, or call Lin Gray at the PPD (850) 584-5121 to buy tickets in advance so you can launch and go.

Tickets are avaiable at Rocky's,Wilson's and Keaton Beach Marina.
