Fished the Warrior today 0730-1530. Nothing steady, but flurries of good jerkbait bites all day except for around low tide. Ended up with our ten (4 on buddy's Gulp, he can't get away from them) by 1300, plus some releases. All caught in 3-5 ft (not where I thought they'd be.) Biggest was 22", which not suprisingly was in 2 ft. Tried in vain to find two redfish but no takers, maybe the fresh water has them not eating? Water 55.5 (am) to 61.5 (pm) and chocolate milk. Trout were eating well when they bit, color didn't seem to matter, but switching colors seemed to help. Chrome Redfins, gold Redfins, even the green back/pink bottom (or vice versa?) Renegade worked. Talked to people at the ramp who fished south of Keaton and struck out.
Going again Sunday, weather permitting.
