Keaton beach

Post by REEL AGGRESSIVE »

Fished Adams Beach to SW all day Sat. Picked up a three person limit,
nothing over 19 but still a lot of fish plus one flounder,
fished in 5 to 7 ft. Highlight of the day was a 42 inch red
landed by CW. Got the blood moving for about 15 minutes.
Had a great time but ready to move out to where the big boys play next month.

Caught most on gulps ( white and new penny) under cork with 4 ft leader fished slowww. A few caught redfin gold.
Water stained out deep, we tried 2-4 feet and water was very dirty so we stayed out deep.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like yall did good. We were among the pack of boats with you. The trout were definitely out deep, very lethargic due to the cold water but hungry.
