Help
I took my boat in to a reputable mechanic for a very thorough annual service. All filters, fuel pump, o2 sensor etc. I took it out for a spin in preparation for the Keaton weekend. It idles better than evEr. It is starving for fuel and the bubble is draining of fuel. After much time, I got it to the point that I could very slowly get it out of the hole, very slowly feed it the throttle, its ok. If I moderatly try to come out of the hole it never catches up to itself. Could it be possible that there is an airlock that I could get out? Any ideas?
The boat has idled rough for the last year but rAn great prior to service.
Thanks for reading all this...I am stressed.

Re: Help
Sounds like a possible tank vent problem. Or it could be a restriction in the line. But it definitely sounds like a fuel flow problem.

Re: Help
Check your hoses. This new fuel is eating up some of the old types of fuel hose.

What kind of engine is it? Carburated or fuel injected? Old or new. 2 smoker or 4. etc etc

Re: Help
try loosining the gas cap and see if the problem goes away, if it does, you have a venting issue. If it doesn't you have a restriction in the line somewhere. A improperly installed fuel filter will do it if it is the inline type.
