Got down Thursday around 2 which was later than normal because of a little run in with the Worth County Sheriff's Office. I had my stretch of road confused and had the cruise set for 65 when it was only 55. First ticket in 11 years and i was not happy for being stupid.

Friday was about the perfect day of trout fishing. on the water around 11 a.m. and the weather finally settled to low winds so i could get to my best spots to fish. had a limit of trout by 1:45. 2 twins at 22 inches, 6 between 18.5 and 19.5 inches and 2 at 16.5 inches. went for the reds and found another fatty that was 26.75 and lost two others that simply came unbuttoned. the reds were really spooky friday because of all the boats running around everywhere. lots of hits and short strikes without hookups.
Thursday and Fridays Fish

Saturday was another great day on the water after some really rough seas to start with. we did a little playing on the four wheelers early in the morning and the wind just came out of no where around 10 a.m. then just like it started, it just died while we were out on the water about 2 making for a perfect spring afternoon.. The bite for the trout was much slower on Sat and we didn't have a limit until around 3:30 and the fish were not as nice. still had 5 that were over 18 inches. with the lack of folks on the water however, saturday afternoon the reds had settled down and we ended up with two keepers and 7 rats all within casting distance of two different points. it was a lot of fun.

after dinner on saturday, the group decided to go out for a sunset cruise and it was spectacular.

Sunday was our last day and we got out after an Easter Sunday Breakfast. On the water around 11:30 and a quick limit by 1 p.m. Back at the house for a quick shower and off to GA. Another great weekend to be out and a few fish to boot.
