Econfina 4-5-10
I had to start the week with some boat cleaning, so I decided to mix in a little fishing before work. I met my Buddy Raymond at the Econfina ramp around 7:30am. We headed east towards Rock Island and started throwing topwater. Fishing started slow, but picked up within the hour. We started having double hookups in 3-4 ft. and missed several more. With our limit of trout, we headed into a favorite creek for reds. Caught one 19" and spooked several more. When the tide slacked, we left. We drifted out by Hickory Mounds and picked up 2 nice flounder and a spanish on a white fluke. Water temp was 72 and it was a great way to spend a Monday
