Nav lights and switch, how to wire?

Post by rusty.hook »

I moved my nav lights, red and green to my newly added console and added white/anchor light to motor cowling. Need to hook up new switch and runs all wires. Anybody have a simple diagram showing where all the wire go? thanx.

Try this one.. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt ... CBEQ9QEwAw

You can use the word anchor light in place of bait pump and all will work fine.

Here's a fairly straight forward basic diagram. You'l need a double pole, double throw switch on the console.

remember that all you are doing is making a complete circle (loop) with the wires. Each side of the battery needs a wire and each side of the light needs a wire. The switch goes on one side of your loop to simply "break" the loop. Pretty simple explanation from a telephone man! :-D
