Jumptrout51 comes to town

Post by Chalk »

Jumptrout51 came to town to do some work...the plan was to work on Thursday and fish on Friday and Saturday....reality sunk in and we worked on Friday, into Friday night and left work to do Saturday. Luckily Chalk can read and we fixed our problem and we went fishing. Birddog even swung by the house to offer some help.

Friday night - we did enjoy some awesome grilled cobia - I'm gonna need a tower boat after eating that fish :lick:

Jumptrout and I finally made it to the water around 10 on Saturday and we ran south in search of something to tighten our lines and put a smile on our faces. We poled along and saw a few redfish....I even managed to hit JT square in the back with a spoon - was an accident - but he deserved it  . After I smacked JT around with a spoon - he decided to catch a nice trout on a gulp :smt011

We fish some more and move around and finally find some good bait and fish activity....saw some tailers - even JT saw some redfish tail.

JT managed to snag a few of the redfish - on gulp of course.

We only got to fish a few hours, but we managed a limit of reds and a nice trout over 20 that was released. Was an exciting weekend, great service from Garantee Appliance - even better times was spent over a nice seafood dinner and time spent on the saltwater. Had a blast JT - thanks again for your help

You are welcome Chalk. Enjoyed it(work and play).

I think Lowe's or Home Depot sell those "insta-towers" pretty reasonable.
