Thank Goodness For SeaTow!

Post by haliaetus »

Another SeaTow member for life! While coming back near Lanark today with my wife, two kids and a dog (and no fish), my engine just decided to call it a day. Quick check, and a call to SeaTow, and we were towed and loaded at the ramp in a matter of minutes. If you haven't signed up, you'll be glad you did when you first need it.

They are some good folks. That should have been Capt. Joel but if not that's his area anyway.

How much is a membership? vs. How much for 1 tow?

Around $150.00 per year but if you soon the North Florida Gulf Fishing Club Capt. Joel Singletary will give you a discount. That's one of the perks for being a member.

That ain't a math problem you want to figure on.

Gas, soft ungroundings, towing, jump starts and they even have a teailer package that will cover your boat and trailer while in transit. They'll cover you and any vessel you own or are on.

I think the average cost per tow is $500+ :o membership is well worth it

Yes, as far as doing the math....it only took them 1.5 hours to take care of us since we were so close, but that 1.5 hours would have cost more than double a one year membership. They're good people, and the piece of mind is priceless, especially of you have kids and wife on board. I hate to admit it, but my young daughter thought the yellow boat towing ours was really cool too.

I also have been a member for several years. I have had to use them a couple of times.
They know what they are doing. Fast, efficent, professional and well worth the annual fee just for the peace of mind even if you don't need to call them.

If you don't already have them, give Capt. Joel call.
