SWA eels

Post by Ken K »

Any of ya'll been using these new 5" eels? I bought a couple (OK, six) packs of these this past winter. I just threw one a couple of times in the pond and they sure look good coming through the water.

I'm checking my saltwater rigs to minimize first cast birdnests and professional overruns. I was hoping for a 12" bass on my 20lb outfit but I couldn't cast it but about six times before my arm started hurting.

I have some of the new SWA Eels. I got them at an NFGFC meeting. I've used 1 eel so far. I'm sure I'll eventually use them.

What is your 20 pound rig? Must be heavy if you could only manage six casts. :o
What was I supposed to do today?

TC, you know a fisherman would never exaggerate!! It is a FinNor Ahab 20, I think they make them out of depleted uranium or something.

Ken,

I have been using the eels with pretty good results. I like them alot. Fished most of what I got at the NFGFC meeting and have already bought more. Caught quite a few Spanish on them.
