Trolling motor mounted Fishfinder
I am looking for Ideas of a trolling motor mounted fish finder. Something to mount on the Bow when trolling or fishing from the bow. It does not need a whole lot of bells. I just want someting that will display basic depth and water temp. I have a good Hummingbird that is mounted on the center console which great when fishing out of the aft of the boat but to hard to read when fishing from the bow. I really don't want to spend a whole lot of money on it, it's more for convenience then a need.

Does your Humminbird have a quick connect mount? You can purschase a switch for the transducer and add an extra mount at the front. Use the same head unit in both places on one transducer. Might be cheaper than getting a new unit.

Good luck and let me know if you do this. I am thinking about doing it myself.
