cordless minn kota

Post by blue22 »

I am replacing a 80lb minn kota on my key west bay reef. I've been searching for ways to do this with a good way to hide the power cord. I don't like the idea of a foot control or remote control for it. It looks like you could accomplish my goal that way. Does anyone have any idea if the cord can become essentially invisable? i don't mind even mounting a battery for it to connect to in the front compartment. Can this be done?

You could put a quick connect plug on the power wire at the motor head and stow the cord when not in use.
