Anky pics Fri am

Post by RHTFISH »

I tried to get out for some predawn fishing but it was quite windy. The ride out was beautiful as usual!!!!!!!
I did have trouble holding the camera in the low light so only got a few shots I could salvage.

If you haven't made a trip out on flats in the moonlight you owe yourself the experience!

ENJOY!

WHAT!! :o No moonlight explosions of topwater strikes or glistening monster trout leaping out of the water with the moon reflecting off their sides and gills flaring.... :-? Well, anyway, did you catch anything?

Several blowups Mr. Bud....did catch a couple of nice trout and one big cat on topwater. It was rough enough I stood on top of my new
Yeti icebox (size made for us big ole boys). That thing is solid! Wind and rough water made it difficult to stay in the couple of areas I wanted to
concentrate on. At daylight, I finally moved in close just be able to fish topwater without all the wind. Of course, the Barge is a magnet for
oyster bars so then I was aggravated I wasn't in mudboat. Lots of fun anyhow and I get a lot of mileage from one of those trips out at night.

We did the Anky moonlight thing a couple of years back. Beautiful with the moon lighting the water. Glad I carried my wife, since apparently, it also created a romantic atmosphere to her. :smt007

Yep. Very memorable night....
