Is the power cord the same for Garmin 172c and 498 gps.

Is the power cord the same for Garmin 172c and 498 gps. I have one installed on my boat now and did not want to change out power cords if possible. I plugged one cord into the 172c and 498 and both worked. Will it do any damage or will the cord be ok for both.

Found out the power cords are the same, both will work, so I do not have have to change out, thanx.
