Good buddy caught this on Anky flats early in May and asked for ID help...

All I could think of was EcofanaUglyFish but I think he was hoping for more....

I think bman is correct. I found this picture of a "Smooth Puffer" on the web. I hear that puffers can be a delicacy if prepared correctly.

Yeah, I was kidding about that. I do hear they are considered a delicacy when prepared properly, but it's not something you wanna try yourself. You also don't want to let your fingers get inside his mouth, what they lack in teeth, they make up for in jaw strength.
