Any Word On The BBSC Being Cancelled?

Post by Scoop Sea »

I heard a rumor yesterday that the Board of the BBSC was meeting soon to discuss the possibility of cancelling the BBSC due to the oil spill. Does anyone have any legitimite intel on this issue? I personally think they should move forward with the Classic, but I can understand their concerns of not having a large turnout due to concerns over the oil.

according to the facebook page and their website, everything is still a go and the tourney is still on.

On their website:

BBSC is monitoring the devastating event in the Gulf. Our mission to build marine habitat may be severely impacted by the spill. Currently the Classic is still scheduled for June 18-20, 2010. Please check back for more information.
I'm sure as more information becomes available they will let everyone know via updates on FB and their website.
