Makes me wanna GAG Panacea 5/22/10

Post by Jonny Topside »

Got a late start to the day because of some boat trouble. Me and the crew didn't feel like killing ourselves so we decided to see if we could scrounge something up at Rotary. Ended up with 2 keeper Gags :lick: Image. Bite was slow untill the tide started to drop. All were caught on live pinfish in 20 to 25ft of water. Can't get the pics up, sorry folks.

It's really tricky out there on Rotary. Late May to early June and the coolest parts of November are the only times I ever catch keepers on Rotary. You gotta find a flat patch of bottom and drop dead bait to get the grunts going. After a while start dropping the live ones down, the Gags will be so far away from the rocks they will run for miles and never make it home safe.
