Cobia

Post by Joe »

Went out to Mashes Sands on Saturday to see if the Cobia were in. It was hot and I was dying prior to the 30 minute fight on light tackle. I caught this 26lb Cobia. I maintained patience while my beautiful wife "Practice netted" for 3 tries. She is getting better, she did not try and tail scoop this one at all. Too wore out to pitch another jig after this one, headed for the hill.
We had Cobia shisk kabobs last night from the grill and it was delicious. Marinaded in Jerk seasoning, mushrooms, and red peppers!

Offer: Will trade info on Wevans Cobia holes for info on how to catch trout at Port St. Joe next month.

I think I ran into you at the ramp. I was the one who was trying to trade the Grouper for your Cobia.
