Panama City, FL Fishing

Post by SouthernBelle »

We are going to Panama City Beach this weekend and I am wondering if anyone has any experience over there. Kids are coming along and I would just like to know a good spot to catch fish (no specific type) and what type of bait to use. The kids just like to catch fish, they dont care what kind. Does anyone have any ideas for location and bait? Thanks!

You can go to the St. Andrews State park and fish from the jetties with live shrimp or live pinfish. Pompano are still running on the beaches as well. Stop by Half Hitch Tackle when you get into town and they can hook you up with what you will need to catch fish.

As per my view this is the best place to have vacation.Panama City Beach's slogan is "The World's Most Beautiful Beaches" due to the unique sugar-white sandy beaches. It is Well-known locations in the city were places such as "The Hang-Out" at the Long Beach Resort motel.
