Post by Troutinator »

I will always Honor and remember that Veteran in my life, and always remember and thank those Veterans who gave some and the Some that gave all. I love and miss you dad, as you look down on us from up above know you are missed.

Amen.

My great Grandfather's generation: WWI

My Grandfather's generation: WWII

My Father's generation: Korea and Vietnam

My generation: Iraq and Afghanistan

I am astounded and what young men will sacrifice for their God, country, and family. We can't thank them enough for their sacrifice. Both those who have gone before in death and those still holding things down while willing to give their lives. Men in my family have been in the worst of the fights and by the grace of God have come through alive. So many did not. This weekend let's remember and enjoy what they gave their lives to protect. Our God, our country and our families.

I FOUGHT 4 1/2YEARS FOR MY COUNTRY DURING WW 11. HAD SEVERAL TIMES SO CLOSE TO BEING KILLED IT WAS NOT GOOD. I AM THE ONLY ONE LEFT OUT OF MY WING OF THE MARINES I WAS WITH ALL OVER THE SOUTH PACIFIC. IT RIPS MY HEART OUT TO SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY COUNTRY TODAY. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN AND I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN CONTINUE TO LET THIS MUSLEM OBAMA, AND HIS CZARS RUIN OUR COUNTRY LIKE THEY ARE DOING. I HAVE ONLY ONE HOPE, AND THAT IS THAT GOD WILL COME IN AND RESCUE US FROM THE HELL WE ARE IN.

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

I spent most of my adult life with the Marine Corps. Lost more friends than I can talk about. From the evacuation of Saigon, the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut to four years on a Marine Corps Burial Detail. Radical
Islam didn't start on 911. It goes back to the suicide bombing of the Marine Barracks Oct. 23, 1983, where 220 of my fellow Marines died from a Hezbollah car bomb. This was the largest loss of life in one day for the Marine Corps since the Battle for Iwo Jima in WWII. My brothers of the 24th Marine Amphibious Brigade, sleep in peace.
