Me, Lil Chalk and Barhopr

Meet up with Barhopr for a fishing trip...launched the HPX and headed out hoping to find the biomass of upper slot reds. BH got on the pole before I could grab it...being on the pointy end of the boat seemed odd - it had been awhile. First spot resulted in a nice 25" red and saw another one that was better. Headed to the other end of the bay and ended up on the west side. Didn't see diddly and BH had to jet....so I ran back to the dock and tossed him out. Headed back north and saw a few fish. Saw a nice school of rat reds....threw the spoon in front of the school and the school leaned away....threw the spoon into the middle of the school and the school parted. Dam vegan redfish

Ended up catching a few trout and not seeing any more reds...water was not moving..was suppose to top out around 11 and then fall....got back to the dock around 3:00 and the water level was the same as I left it.

Sorry the fish didn't wanna play, it's like that with little or no water movement. But go when ya can, I always say. At least ya got to go.

At least you got to see some!! Funny, my phone was on and had good service all day but it never rang, hmmmmmmmm.

Man..As I dropped off BH...I thought I should have called BG for the second half...my bad...but me and BH's trip was coordinated via text messages late last night.

Thanks for the short trip guys. Was good to get out and see little chalk do his thang. Here is the big one for the day.
