Pack a Pole
I bought this to carry rods on top of the racks on the truck, used twice, like new, I have invested in travel rods now so I can fly, retails at 100 for sale at 50

The 7000 Pack a Pole Rod Case by Frabill allows you to travel with your rods and reels assembled and ready to fish. The clam-shell style case adjusts from 60" to 89.5" in length and can carry up to four rods and reels. It features two built-in accessory/tackle compartments and four padlock holes which allow the case to be locked for security. Holds spinning, casting, or fly combos.
