My fish-fu is weak

Post by lonesouth »

Went out on jackson today, got on the water around 430 and pulled out at 7. We started over by Rhoden Cove with a plastic worm and a bunch of Rapalas that refused to float, and I'm certain some of them were floaters. We moved around a little bit. Eventually I switched to a jitterbug and we moved a little off the grass. Finally we scooted back of the Miller Landing and cast a few more. Only got one nibble in that time. My fish-fu is weak. But it was a good time getting out with Dad and back on the water for the first time this season, weather was perfect!

Lonesouth, I'm starting to doubt your commitment to this fishing thing. . . 8)
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

You gotta take the Tincan approach to fishing, "Sometimes you just gotta wait 'em out."

On a side note, I had a Skitter Walk that didn't want to work right Saturday and lo and behold, she was taken on water. That might be the problem.
