Aucilla water clarity
Anybody been to aucilla the last few days I was wondering if the water was dirty or had it cleared up
Re: Aucilla water clarity
was there sunday. Water was muddy; chocolate milk. Managed 3 upper slot reds on TW by 8. Moved in and out looking for trout, finally hooked one in 2' and had it swallowed, along with my plug, by a 5' shark. Couldn't even see the shark that was apparently boatside until it exploded on my fish. Never caught a trout and was chased off the water by storm around 10:30
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

Water clearing on the flats between rivers, top to bottom in 4-5 ft. Fished 1/2 day friday and saturday, 18 trout, 2 over 20", 3 26"reds,2 spanish,8 seabass,3 sharks, sport fish for fun, 75 catfish, 15 ladyfish, 1 bluefish. Still slower than usual. Lots of casting.

Water was still dark. We ventured east and west, but stayed close in and was still pretty dark.
